SINOPSIS

En una noche de tormenta en 1993, nace la bella Marina, aparentemente sin vida. La bebé es recibida por Damiana, la partera del pueblo, quien minutos antes atendió el alumbramiento de un niño sano, pero cuya madre desafortunadamente no sobrevivió. Don Luis, el padre de Marina, desde que se casó con Prudencia, vive empeñado en tener un hijo varón. Desea un heredero que trascienda su ilustre apellido Ocaranza. Prudencia queda imposibilitada para volver a embarazarse, situación que apremia a su nana Angustias a convencer a Damiana de beneficiar a la familia y al bebé que quedó huérfano, haciéndolo pasar por legítimo hijo Ocaranza Arzuaga. Es así como Luis Alberto, el gran orgullo de don Luis, crece en cuna de oro y viaja al extranjero para estudiar la carrera de medicina.
